Strong Results at the North London Open Championships

Plympton St. Maurice Judo Club made an impressive showing at the North London Open Championships, with three of its Judoka delivering outstanding performances on the mat.

It was a big day for the team, particularly for Luke, who stepped into competition for the very first time and did so with great success. He secured a bronze medal, an incredible achievement for his debut outing.

Meanwhile, Charlie held his own at the top end of the junior category, demonstrating impressive skill and determination throughout the event. His efforts were rewarded with a silver medal.

Also competing was Jenson, who took on the challenge of his first adult-level fights. He rose to the occasion brilliantly, earning himself a silver medal and marking a strong start to his journey in the senior ranks.

The club expressed pride in all three competitors, praising their hard work, courage, and sportsmanship. Their success highlights the strength of the club’s training and the dedication of its young athletes.

More photos and video highlights from the competition are expected to be shared soon across the club’s social media channels.

Congratulations to Luke, Charlie, and Jenson for an amazing achievement all round!
